Celebrate Earth Day & Arbor Day in the City of Evanston!
Community members are invited to participate in the City's annual “Clean up, Evanston!" event in honor of Earth Day and Arbor Day on Saturday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
This year’s event is made possible through partnerships with the Evanston TreeKeepers, District 65, District 202, Northwestern University, Canal Shores, Friends of the Chicago River, the Alliance for the Great Lakes and the Ridgeville Park District.
In addition to the City's Community Clean-up event April 22, volunteers from civic organizations, social clubs, neighborhood associations, individual families, faith organizations, school groups, and employee groups are encouraged to participate in the City of Evanston Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department's year-round Adopt a Park program. The City is seeking volunteer groups to assist with litter pick-up, preservation, and maintenance of Evanston parks. To learn more, visit cityofevanston.org/adoptapark or send questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Registration for someone without an email account: You cannot have multiple users with the same email account. You can create an account for that individual by using their first name @example.com (ex. email@example.com). The system is designed to ignore @example.com and not send it emails.
